WHO:

All MADA Students

WHAT:

Get in the holiday spirit by enjoying fun holiday dances and music! Please check the front desk with what your student might need for the concert. A new stuffed animal with tags is your ticket into the show, we will be donating stuffed animals to local hospitals and donation centers.

WHEN:

Sunday, December 8th

TIME:

The show will begin at 5pm. Please see below for your student's check in time.

WHERE:

Northside Middle School Cafeteria

300 Lawrence St, Elkhart, IN 46514

You will enter off of Lawrence St to the front of the building and enter in DOOR 2. One parent can take their student(s) to check them in to the RIGHT, and other audience members can go to the LEFT to enter the cafeteria.

CHECK IN PROCESS:

Students should arrive PERFORMANCE READY! In first costume they perform in. Parents will get an index card with a number on it at check in, the number represents what room # their student is in. Twinkle Toes (our youngest group) may be picked up right after their song, one parent needs to bring index card and give it to room adult. If your student falls into more than one check in time, or if you have siblings, they can come to either check in. This is just a guideline to help keep things running smooth.

4:10 - All Competitors, Teen Lyrical/Jazz

4:20 - Ballet 1, Ballet 2, Hip Hop Flip Flop 1, Hip Hop Flip Flop 2, Tap/Jazz 2 Combo

4:30 - Twinkle Toes, Dazzlers, Sparklers

HAIR: Hair should be in low bun with center part, unless teacher specified otherwise. Twinkle Toes, Dazzlers, Sparklers all will have a high bun (no part).

MAKEUP: Competitors can wear normal competition makeup. All other students can wear light makeup if desired (blush, mascara, red lipstick). Toddlers do not have to wear makeup.

HOLIDAY PAJAMAS: Students can change into Holiday pajamas after they are all done dancing if they want. This is NOT required, just something fun for students to do. We will all go back on stage to sing a song and do a large group bow.

WHAT TO PACK: Additional costumes if student is dancing in more than one song, water, dry snacks (pretzels or goldfish), coloring books. This is a FAST recital, students will not have a lot of down time.

CHECKOUT: We will be dismissing students in the opposite order that they arrived in. One parent needs to come to the check in/out table with the index card. See above order.

WHAT DOES MY STUDENT WEAR?

PARENTS! Please supply your child with the necessary items for their costume. If it says (we provide) that means we will provide that item at NO COST and your student will be using it for this show only and returning it to us. If there is a price after an item like “white tutu  ($5 we will order)” that means we will order that item for your child, and you will be charged on your account for it. Your child then gets to keep that costume piece or accessory. That price only reflects that specific item and does not include shoes or tights which your student is responsible for.
