ATTENTION: The final payment for the season was processed today (June 1st, 2022). As it states when you open the Parent Portal, you will find a list of the monthly payment schedule (September-June). The dance season is based on the total number of weeks divided by 10 monthly payments, tuition is the same fee every month even when there are more or less weeks that month. June is the last payment, and it includes your student’s digital recital photos and video, there is no additional cost to purchase those items. After the recital, there are no more classes for this season. If your card is inactive, expired, declined, or you have an address change, you might still have a balance. Please log in to your Parent Portal to check your balance and make a one time payment. You can see a list of transactions by logging in and clicking “Account Settings” and then clicking “Payment History”. If you prefer cash/check, you may bring the payment in a labeled envelope to Dress Rehearsal and turn it into the check-in counter. Student accounts must be paid in full before they participate in the recital, if you need to set up a payment plan, please contact our Staff at info@themusicanddancecademy.com

DRESS REHEARSAL INFO:

HAIR/MAKEUP CHANGE: STUDENTS DO NOT NEED TO HAVE HAIR/MAKEUP DONE FOR DRESS REHEARSAL. WE DO ASK THAT IT IS PULLED OFF OF FACE IN A PONYTAIL LIKE REGULAR DANCE CLASS. (WE WILL TAKE THE COMPETITOR PICTURE BEFORE THE SHOW STARTS ON FRIDAY IN OPENING NUMBER # COSTUME).

ARRIVAL NOTES: Please arrive in first costume (competitors will get Opening Number Costume at check-in) and will change immediately. We have attached the Recital Order, please take a screenshot of it and share it with your student! We will have 2 check in tables, please go to the correct table for your STUDENT’S LAST NAME,  A-L or M-Z. You will receive a notecard, hold onto that card until you pick up your student at dismissal.

Parents do not have to stay the entire rehearsal but if they would like to leave when their student is done performing they can. Parents will have to walk outside from the Premier Arts Door to lobby to wait. Students will be in dressing rooms, after they perform a parent can go to the check-in table (exit the lobby and go outside, walk down to The Premier Arts Doors) to check them out.

We are estimating the recital to be around 90 minutes long, if we start the run through at 6:00pm, we could be done as early as 7:30pm. There is no guarantee that we will be done by then, but you may leave with your student once they are done performing, or head back to The Lerner around 7:15pm. If you choose to wait in the lobby, you will still have to pick up your student at the Check-In Desk. We will allow one parent into Dress Rehearsal if they wish to watch and stay there until their student is done.

  • POSITIVE ATTITUDE - PLEASE REMIND YOUR STUDENT TO PICK UP AFTER THEMSELVES, MAKE KIND CHOICES, AND FOLLOW ADULT INSTRUCTIONS :)

Please check-in your students at the Check-In table, we will take them to their teacher and class. Parents will walk down the sidewalk and enter through Lerner Lobby Doors and can watch student’s perform, when they are finished you will go to the lobby and pick them up. Please do not leave any belongings with them, you can put their ballet shoes on them at the check-in table, and hold onto their street shoes. We are expecting they will be done by 6:15ish.

(If your student is in more than one class, they should have the same hairstyle for both classes so that they do not have to change their hair during the performance), if your students classes are listed in different hairstyles, please let our Staff know!
